      How to Set Up the TourBuilder Go Kit

      Step-by-step instructions on how to properly set up your TourBuilder Go Kit

      Step 1: Assemble the Tripod

      Take off the tripod base cap. Screw the tripod legs into the rubber base of the tripod. Move the toggle over on the base of the tripod to the flat position. Press the button on each leg to extend outwards. 

      You have two options for the tripod setup:

      1. Fully extend all 3 columns of the tripod.
      2. If you are using the battery power bank, you only need to extend the bottom two columns.

      Step 2: Attach the Phone Mount

      Attach the phone mount to the tripod and secure it in place. The phone Mount should be placed right below the top latch of the tripod.

      Step 3: Attach the Battery Power bank

      If you intend to use the power bank, attach it to the top of the tripod and then connect the small extender metal rod that is in the accessory box.

      Step 4: Attach the 360-degree Camera to the Top

      Screw the Ricoh Theta camera to the top of the metal extender on top of the Battery Power Bank, if using the power bank. If you are not using the power bank, then attach the Ricoh Theta camera to the top of the tripod with all 3 columns extended.

      *New* TourBuilder Go Kit Setup Instructions

      Note: If your TourBuilder Go Kit was purchased after February 3, 2025 - please follow the Original Setup Instructions above. 

      1. Attach the Theta screw to the tripod base
      2. Attach the battery bank to the Theta screw
      3. Attach the monopod to the battery bankUntitled design (3)-1
      4. Attach a second Theta screw to the top of the monopod
      5. Extend the bottom two segments of the monopod
      6. Attach the Richo Theta camera to the second Theta screw
      7. Remove the Richo Theta camera cover
      8. Remove the plastic screw off of the back ofthe phone mount holder
      9. Attach the phone mount to the clasp
      10. Place the phone mount on the monopod directly under the top clasp on the monopod, ensuring it is placed directly in line with the screen on the Ricoh Theta camera
      11. Attach the charging cable from the battery bank to the Richo Theta camera (wrap the cable around the monopod to keep the cable close to the monopod)
